Ben,I’m Aileen’s brother.About the”Paper and plastic”,what I can tell you is that it’s the same as what’s happening in NYC.Obviously,the shop attendants want to judge whether you’ve paid by wrapping items in bags.So,when you are leaving the gate,the guard can check you with his eyes for just one second.It’s wasteful,but it’s simple.It’s business,people don’t care about entironment,they care about the COST.I also can tell you that in Los Angle, customers disagree with the low of restricted plastic bags using at super market.I know it form the newspaper at May2007.
